Justice, we believe, is both simple and universal, perfect yet imperfectly attained, one like the circle, like the Wellspring of creation and those values universal and absolute. Like the apex of the triangle, Justice, we believe, is the high ground which transcends conflict, resolves thesis and antithesis, and brings forth synthesis; ensouled by Charity, ascends to new thesis. We believe in Economic Justice, Justice in the input and out-take, and the balancing of both, affirming each man and woman's vested right to own the means to feed the body and free the mind, to reach beyond oneself, to others, to nature, to God. We believe in Social Justice, the right ordering of institutions and laws, the soil from which flowers the good community uniting to sanctify the dignity of each person, whose earthly sovereignty the eternal Sovereign has bestowed. Yet, as the circle and triangle remain incomplete, so too is our knowing, our grasp, and mankinds task to secure Justice for every person. Forever we are all enjoined: "Justice, Justice, thou shalt pursue." Dawn Kurland Brohawn |
